I know it’s a little unnerving, but sometimes you just don’t realize! Here are some helpful tips to find out if you’re getting the right fit (and believe me, you’ll want that perfect fit!)

  • There should be no spills. This should be somewhat obvious. Your breasts should not be falling out of the bra nor should there be any space between your breast and the cup.
  • The band should rest perfectly on your back. It should not be riding up or down. A neat trick to see if the band is right is to slide two fingers underneath the band. If more can fit, it’s too big. If only one can fit, it’s too small.
  • Bras should not have wrinkles in them. They should conform to the shape of your breasts. If it’s not smooth, try a smaller cup.
  • There should not be gaps in the bra. The center of the bra should lie flat against your chest. If it isn’t, the bra is too big and it isn’t giving your enough support.
